The window
A kitchen window over a sink is used constantly and overlooked at exactly the height you stand at. Full-height panels would have blocked the light the worktop depends on.
What we did
Café style panels covering the lower portion of the window only, leaving the top open permanently. The result is street-level privacy with no loss of working light, and nothing to reach over the sink to operate.
