Tier-on-tier · dark finish
Black shutters, contemporary interior
Proof that shutters don't have to be white to look like they belong in a period property.

The window
Dark finishes show every imperfection in a panel edge and every inconsistency in a louvre line. There is nowhere to hide on a black shutter.
What we did
A sprayed black finish across tier-on-tier panels, with the louvre spacing and stile widths kept deliberately consistent so the eye reads clean parallel lines. Against pale walls the panels behave like a framed graphic element rather than a window covering.
