Apex glazing in a natural stain
A gable end of glass, handled with stained hardwood rather than paint.

The window
Apex glazing is usually left bare because it's difficult, which leaves a room that overheats in summer and loses heat at night. Angled panels also have to be made to the exact pitch of the roof.
What we did
Full-height panels below with a fixed shaped section following the apex, all in a natural stain so the timber grain carries through. 114mm louvres keep the panel count down on a large area of glass.
